INCEPTION I: Cameraless technology with natural elements, water and soil.

PRESENTLY EXHIBITED: Future Planet Exhibition, London 2022/23

The Nature Energy Technology series addresses technological change and the impact it has on the environment around us. An uncomfortable change that reveals how technology is often advancing faster than human wisdom. The artist imagines the earth at its earliest inception, captures its energy and anticipates its future.

Combining cameraless techniques with digital edits, the artist challenges the norm by dislocating the environment, creating a new normal from the technological chaos. By using scanning as the technology, 3D foil sculptures, cutting and replacing, then adding natural elements, such as water and soil to the images, the changing environment is displaced and replaced in the hope that we somehow balance the chaos.
