About the art
Artist statement
"Before Sunset" is an abstract painting using soft hues of blue with contrasting gold leaves, highlighting the fleeting beauty of a world bathed in the quiet majesty of dusk. Some parts of the original raw linen is deliberately left visible in the top right side. The artist hope this piece will bring an energy of calm and ease to the space it hangs. Due to the use of gold leaves, the gold will look different under different lighting conditions and angles, adding interest to the piece.
