About the art
Artist statement
"Pink Rhapsody" is inspired by the Artist's trekking trip to the Himalayas. Through it, the artist explores the relationship between the environment and the individual. Nature and us as human beings appear as separate entities but are actually deeply connected. The Artist hopes to call upon more peace and environmental protection through her art. Although in pink, the painting still possess an ethereal quality that seeks to evoke a feeling of transcendence to viewers.
"Pink Rhapsody" is exhibited at Yin Chua's first exhibition "Zen Encounters"
