About the art
Artist statement
This minimalist white on white textured work explores the relationship between the environment and the individual identity. Nature and us as human beings appear as separate entities but are actually deeply connected. The seemingly void of colour -- white, is again an illusion as scientifically white consist of all colours. Just as we are one with the universe. The painting is inspired by the artist's trek to the Himalayas.
