Artist statement
All mighty winds and waves have been sculpting this old tree for ages. Bleached by the sun to the colour of bone this is a nature’s monument for us to worship.
I came across this graceful giant during our travels along the Pacific Coast some years ago.
I imagine that it is still there raising its arms to heaven.
In this acrylic creation, I captured the majestic dance of the sea and sky. Embracing impressionism, infused movement and emotion into the swirling blues and serene purples. The rhythm of nature's elements is harmonized within these strokes, offering a piece that will bring a wave of tranquillity and inspiration into any space.
