IRIDESCENCE

The Making
It kicks off with drawing and designing an intricate geometric framework. The design is broken down into levels and filled with colors that contrast and complement each other. Mesmerizing patterns are uncovered by highlighting and subduing different elements in the matrix.
An accurate cutting is done using a mix of machine and hand cuts for getting the best of both worlds. Under the play of light & shadows the final step of layer assembly turns the 2D design into a 3D structure. A high level of precision is required as small errors lead to entire redoes.
