S.E.A Focus Returns For Its Second Edition

After a successful debut in January 2019, S.E.A Focus returns for its second edition during Singapore Art Week in January 2020. Featuring 20 leading galleries from Singapore and around the world, the STPI initiative will be held at Singapore’s visual arts precinct Gillman Barracks from 16-19 January 2020 with a VIP preview on Wednesday 15 January. 

Showcasing contemporary art from Southeast Asia, S.E.A Focus 2020 continues to provide a platform to bring together the finest artists and galleries in the region to foster a deeper appreciation of contemporary art and artists in Southeast Asia.

The 2020 edition will showcase a line-up of 20 local and international galleries based in cities across the region including Jakarta, Makati City, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Hanoi, as well as Beijing, Berlin, Brisbane, New York, and Seoul. In addition, a talks programme under the title of SEAspotlight curated by Audrey Yeo and other artist-led events will run in conjunction with S.E.A. Focus 2020.
