About the art
Artist statement
Osmanthus is a low table with a beech wood structure covered with a layer of white synthetic plaster.
The main subject on the top is a series of Osmanthus branches that follow the entire perimeter and frame the top.
The background is covered with thousands of small circular incisions.
The legs that support the top have a deliberately squared shape to create a strong contrast of shapes.
The table is lacquered with a waterproof semi-gloss transparent varnish
