About the art
Artist statement
The design consist of graphical shapes which flow together in a playfully and bold design language. The rug has three different pile heights which modulate its geometric shapes and combines natural shine with brilliance of the colors which gives it depth.
Hand tufted rug made in collaboration with CARPT and produced by local artisans in India. Utilizing the finest 100% Virgin wool from New Zealand and hand dyed. In addition to being very robust and durable, this wool has considerable lanolin content, which makes it hard-wearing and insensitive to dirt. Each rug is a unique work of art involving complex process and requires real craftsmanship.
