Artist statement
In Islamic culture, the half circle moon embodies the cyclical nature of life and the flow of time, while the lunar phases are linked with magic and transformation, illustrating the constant change and progression of life. Casablanca explores the symbolism of the moon and its mystical association with development and metamorphosis, reminding individuals of the importance of embracing change and growth in order to evolve and develop spiritually.
