Artist statement
Embodying the balance inherent in the concept of marea - tide in Italian - the piece features a harmonious blend of elements, with no single one dominating over the others. It also reflects the ebb and flow of the tide in response to the gravitational pull of the magnetic moon and life-giving sun. This creates a sense of equilibrium, evoking the idea that life is a constant dance between rising and falling, light and dark, and that true balance can only be found by embracing these opposing forces.
