Artist statement
With its intricate woven geometry Maze reinterprets the intricate patterns and labyrinths found in traditional Asian art such as mandalas and other sacred geometries. For centuries, these patterns have served as focal points for meditation and self-reflection across Asia, with a rich history and cultural significance from India to China and Japan.
