Artist statement
Uninhabited, undeveloped and accessible only by boat, No Man’s Land is a secluded spot in the Caribbean Sea defined by a stretch of sandy beach lapped by the most kaleidoscopic waters one could ever see. On either side of a long path, which serves as a dance floor for dozens of brightly colored dragonflies, the beach is also speckled with lush trees. Nomansland, shaped like a diamond to symbolize perfection, captures the essence of this hidden gem and its natural colors.
