Artist statement
Inspired by the shape of myriapod with a long rounded black shape, this new DIPLOPODA Collection was designed during the rainy season in Reunion Island.
In the garden some millipedes go out, especially the “iule”.They are characterized by having two pairs of jointed legs. The solid materials create a stability using a perfect symetry.
This beautiful sideboard consists in solid black oak with travertine handles.
