Artist statement
The Cloud chair is a contemporary accent chair built in my studio. The process of construction is spontaneous, which means no previous design was made before its construction. The appearance of the piece is light to the eyes, but at the same time a strong visual element that will add a statement to a contemporary, commercial or living space. Viewing the piece as asculpture, or a design object depends on the way the item is displayed. A cushion can be added for comfort, incase function becomes its priority. The Cloud Chair is made of wrought iron with a powder coat finish. The piece can be requested in different colours (red , blue , green, gold etc) or made in stainless steel. The chair is shipped packed in reinforced Card Box, and due to its low weight does not require crating.
