This work is a testament to the artist’s exploration of gesture through the use of two contrasting clay slips. The black slip forms a deep, rich background, while the speckled slip creates dynamic, swirling patterns and textures across the surface. These patterns evoke a sense of movement and fluidity, reminiscent of abstract expressionist art.
