This ceramic piece is reminiscent of an ink-washed Chinese calligraphy painting where a waterfall majestically cascades and bounces off a rugged mountain cliffside. The fluidity of the glaze mirrors the serene yet powerful movement of water, inviting contemplation and wonder.
These sculptural vessels are an exploration of texture converging with gesture. The surface texture is designed not only to enhance the gesture in gold but also to add energetic currents that flow around the work.
