Artist statement
"Bianca" is a table made of polished Verde Alpi marble.
The design is inspired by the movement of a dancer on stage.
The leg of the table is the result of an accurate subtraction of material from a single block of marble to obtain a sculptural and monolithic effect.
The work embodies all the knowledge and manufacturing tradition of Bassano del Grappa, in Veneto.
The design of the work is the result of a research on shapes and materials and combines the neoclassical imagery with a contemporary vision.
Different types of marble and finishes are available upon request. Each piece is made to order and is to be considered unique because it may have variations related to the processing and veining of the marble. The aforementioned variations are to be considered a guarantee of the quality of the object.
