About the art
Artist statement
The marble sculpture represents a stylized horse's head. Carcino Design has tried to capture the exact moment in which the horse is "detected" (an equestrian term to indicate a particular and optimal working condition).
The design of the sculpture is the result of research into shapes and materials and combines a neoclassical imagery with a contemporary vision.
The work is in honed Black Marquina marble handmade in Italy. Each piece is made to order and is to be considered unique because it may have variations related to the craftsmanship and the veins of the marble. The aforementioned variations are to be considered a guarantee of the quality of the object.
