Artist statement
Roman Vase is looking at handles in water-carrying vessels in ancient Roman times. This project reinterprets the different typologies of handles through a decorative way mimicking piercings and jewelry.
The male version is a continuation of the female version from the same product family. It is entirely handcrafted, lighter and, offers customization (added earrings), inspired by doll kits that offer additional accessories within the product.
