Artist statement
Electrics: lampshade for one cartridge.
The inspiration for the floor lamp bases were stumps from the dismantling of a house in the 1960s. Each floor lamp is unique due to the pattern, individual irregularities and sections of each stump. It depends on the characteristics of the tree itself and processing, the base cannot be made identical, as in the photo.The lampshade is merino wool, which has the peculiarity of diffusing light very gently and warmly, making it very enveloping and velvety.
