Artist statement
Paired coffee tables, Underpass x Overpass are inspired by urban bridges and river walkways. Made with a shou sugi ban ebonized wood frames and tempered glass tops. Underpass (lower table) features a bronzed mirror top and can be freely moved around to sit under or alongside the Overpass table. The higher table frame Overpass table holds the bronzed glass top in elegant suspension. The tables can be repositioned in a variety of configurations to suit your lounge area. Underpass x Overpass tables are available for commission, and can be made in smaller or larger sizes as needed.
