CARLO Armchair with OTTOMAN

Inspired by a specific phase in the life of the author's firstborn, CARLO armchair is an armchair from the "cantilever" category designed to defy gravity and time, in completely original way and without leaving any detail to chance.
CARLO armchair is the result of the combination of passion for fine materials, innovation of shapes and the search for overall originality.
The armchair, despite the use of new CNC technologies, is predominantly handmade exclusively in ITALY.

The design of the supporting structure, as an unconventional cantilever, represents a absolute novelty not only for the original shape, but also for the way in which the two materials structural are assembled together. CARLO armchair boasts clean, streamlined lines
visible connection members.
Seat, backrest and ottoman are equipped with an internal structure in steel and plywood.
The comfort of the seat is ensured not only by ergonomics and lumbar support, but also from the generous package of polyurethane foam of different load-bearing capacities and one layer top of memory. All exclusively covered in noble genuine leather 100% made in Italy.
The shape of the seat and ottoman is not from a mould, but is created through stratification handmade of the various layers of polyurethane and memory.
The use of only durable and high-quality materials supports the designer's desire to challenge not only the force of gravity, through the solid structure, but also to challenge the time.
The tenacity of steel, the precious warmth of wood and the elegance of real leather are the favorite triad for the CARLO armchair. All details are made of solid brass.
The choice of quality materials also fulfills an environmental function, in fact selected materials are renewable and reusable.
Plastic is excluded from this item, except Teflon and rubber feet
essential to avoid damaging floor surfaces.
Plastic < 0.001% _ only 24 g (12 g for the armchair and 12 g for the ottoman).

This design is the ultimate expression of user customization. In fact, the armchair and ottoman can be made in over 100 leather colours, 3 wood essences (Walnut, Slavic Oak, Ash) and numerous colors of the steel supporting structure. Each product will therefore be unique.
