Artist statement
Pigreco is a designer furniture that combines fine classic materials and a minimalist and timeless style. It is a piece of furniture inspired by the shape of the constant π, the timeless constant. The essential design of pigreco gives the possibility to choose pigreco both as a table and as a desk. The sturdy supporting structures in painted steel and solid wood are inclined almost to form the famous letter π together with the top. Humanity is constantly looking for its daily security, in small and big things. Pigreco therefore praises the concepts of constant and safety. The Pigreco top is in solid wood, as are the two components of the load-bearing structures enclosed in inclined steel trapezoids. Details in solid brass and epoxy resin. The longevity of Pigreco is due to the guaranteed design and the natural resistance of the materials chosen. Pigreco is completely handmade in Italy. Pigreco is customizable in relazione ti the Essence of the wood, the color of the steel structure and the wood finish.
