About the art
Artist statement
Dyed goose quill feathers are attached to a hand-sewn lampshade to form a flower-like structure. The KOI light is entirely handmade.
The KOI light is inspired by radiant koi fish colors. These majestic animals are endemic to Asia and have been around for centuries.
