ORA 2.0

The ORA 2.0 is an evolution of the original artwork ORA commissioned by the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and prominently displayed at the 2020 Triennial. This iteration builds upon the conceptual foundation of its predecessor, which featured a striking 1.2-meter diameter illuminated wall eclipse. Drawing inspiration from the principles of Optical Art and the intricate ways humans perceive colour, the ORA 2.0 introduces a captivating dual illumination effect that sets it apart.

The artwork embodies a sophisticated interplay of coloured illumination, where the dual inner and outer glow work in harmony to create a mesmerising visual experience.
