Handmade Crochet Elements Pouf

The iota pouf challenges the classic upholstery technique and offers a new concept. The luscious, soft look and feel conceals a metal construction which gives it stiffness. The textile cover of the pouf is composed of dozens of hand knit flower- like elements. These elements were designed by our artisan team of designers. Each flower is knit with a grey cotton yarn with a touch of gold polyester and has a back side knit in a deep violet, creating a secret, private angle to the pouf. The elements were knit in our bespoke yarns, produced from the highest quality cotton and polyester in vast color pallets.

In addition to being a contemporary textile design studio iota project is a social project. We employ women who are otherwise unable to work by teaching them the crochet technique and providing them with work they can carry out from their homes.

Maintenance:
Remove dust regularly with a vacuum cleaner with no brushes. The use of chemical cleaning materials and water may harm the product. Harder stains may be gently removed with a moist cloth.
