Artist statement
The Ink Candelabra and Ink Wall Vase are reminiscent of a calligrapher's pen and the ink that bleeds from it, creating haphazardly beautiful shapes on paper. In calligraphy, each stroke is a mark of a fate and never repeated; as with each "Ink" piece, no permutation is exactly the same.
