In Tupi language "tauá" means mud.
This piece is inspired by the Amerindians stories and myths relied on my birthplace in the heart of Latin America. It's a tribute to the memory of my ancestors.
With raw shapes and rustic appearance, the pieces of this collection are all hand made. Mixing ancestral techniques, contemporary and organic shapes this collection is about the importance of daily rituals and sacred moments. The pieces Tauá are perfect for special occasions, to value your meals as tableware or as a support for your offerings (incense, small treasures, personal objects and also special elements) bringing to all of them the power and meaning of primitive symbols.
