Artist statement
LR is a member of the first foam mirror collection by Jordan Keaney. This collection features a range of mirrors with a sculptural piece of ceramic on the face of the mirror, coated in a variety of beautiful colours from a bespoke palette. Inspired by an attempt to make a piece of ceramic furniture that resulted in accidental damage, Keaney picked up the broken pieces of the damaged experiment and thought they held a greater level of beauty than in their original form, and so from the destruction of one idea, came the birth of another.
