Artist statement
Pair of borosilicate glass vases, handcrafted by Venetian artisans.
Organically inspired, Poppy is an imaginary flower whose shape was born from the interweaving of lines and natural features observed in the floral world that led to the definition of a sinuous hybrid but at the same time a delicate accent for the home.
The hand-painted bottom gives the water a light colored hue, taking advantage of the refraction of light characteristic of borosilicate glass.
The pair consists of two vases one with a green bottom and the other with a purple bottom.
Dimensions: diameter 19 cm x height 26 cm.
Minimal variations in shape, size and color are to be considered an exclusive feature, a sign of quality and non-serial production.
