IBSA Technique - A chisel and chasing hammer is use to create narrowly spaced indentations across the entire surface of the object in horizontal and diagonal (left to right & right to left) directions. As a result, the surface becomes somewhat similar to woven or intertwined fabric. Onto this surface, using thread (0.18 – 0.2mm thickness) gold, silver, bronze and/or odong (95% copper and 5% gold) can be inlaid into the grooves created by the chisel. An ibsa knife tool is used cut the wire and convex side of the ibsa hammer to hammer it in.
