About the art
Artist statement
Decorative vase in deep blue porcelain with white details on the surface, biscuit finish, made using a typical shape of M'I lumina. Thin and delicate, inside it has a "tulle" texture, as well as the very fine and frayed edge.
It is a collector's item, hand made without a mold, adding porcelain layer by layer with the use of the brush on a balloon to finish with a rough external finish that contrasts nicely with the interior. It is single-fired in a ceramic kiln at 1260 degrees and is not glazed so it is not suitable for containing water or other liquids. Height approx 22 cm, diameter approx 16/20 cm.
Blue Madrepora is available only on request. It's a unique piece, it's possible to replicate it but it will be never the same.
