About the art
Artist statement
Pair of objects / sculpture in porcelain and pigments, single fired at 1260 ° in oxidation, biscuit finish (mat). The exterior has the characteristic rough texture that characterizes many of my works (reminiscent of marine concretions or corals) and which is made by applying the porcelain with a large brush in many layers on a balloon with a long work. The result is two organic but ambiguous sculptures, shells a little terrestrial and a little marine, as enigmatic as their arcane content.
Madrepora ovum are available only on request. They are unique pieces, it's possible to replicate them but they will be never the same.
The measures of the large egg (gray-blue with white finish) are: diam. 17 cm, h. cm 22, those of the small egg (white with cold blue gray finish) are: diam. 12 cm, h. about 14 cm.
