Artist statement
Set of two "Watercorals" vases made of white porcelain and cast into cylindrical plaster molds but covered with a dense interweaving of "corals" made freehand with the porcelain filigree technique, glazed with the colors of the sea and embellished with groups of small alumina "beads".
The interior is glazed with transparent glaze to contain any liquids. They are fired at 1260 ° C
Each vase is a unique piece. These vases are inspired by nature and the aquatic world, with the intersection of coral branches on which the water seems to adhere in a joyful and unprecedented re-creation of nature. Measurements: h = 22.5 cm, diam. = 9 cm the largest; h = 11.5 cm., diam. 9 cm the smallest. The price is intended for the set of two vases.
