Artist statement
Each strip evokes the geological strata of a landscape. These bands of colors evoke the geological strata of a landscape. The variety of colors is infinite, like all those that make up our world. They remember the colors of the earth, of the leaves, and of the nature that surrounds us.
The vertical shape of the Landscape Lamps echoes with the trees that cover the earth. There are 3 different heights, so they can form a composition. Each shape is numbered and limited to 8 pieces.
The Landscape Lamp is a sculpture during the day and a light by night.
The light coming from the center of the piece is like the halo of a star. This project is an ode to the beauty of natural landscapes.

Artist and designer now based in Zurich, Switzerland, after 6 years in Mexico, Margaux de Penfentenyo is an emerging talent who launched her first collection of sculptural lightings in January 2020.
Born and raised in Paris, she was graduated from the Ecole Camondo in 2014.
