Artist statement
Made of a Flexible Neon LED that can be hooked to a brass chain. Its stability is ensured by a block of marble suspended at its end. Hook-Up embodies a play on equilibrium support and constraint, which makes this piece sensual but definitely fun. The light body can be dropped straight or, through the hooks, can be hung on the chain in indiscriminate positions, giving the public the possibility of shaping endless spatial installations, interactions with the body, versatile lighting atmospheres, and new sensibilities.
Please consider that the singularity of each marble cut make each piece slightly different as it is unique.
It is possible to chose the marble type and the light color.
