Runaround

Runaround is made of a marble block in the shape of a sprocket; the light can be hooked on or off, rolled around, or arranged in a different way due to the support of the brass elements. The design choice not to block the light body makes it a changeable element, which winds up a fluid and sensual manner. This follows the perceptive of the people that interacts with, shaping each time in a different spatial installation. It can also be seen as a wheel or a circle that can be pulled or swung, stand upright or laid one side. The variation in brightness depends on whether the light is more or less exposed. A simple shape that is able to bring up youthful memories, but also stimulate new sensorial ones because of the synaesthetic effect given by the marble passing from static to movable and the light from ethereal to palpable.

Please consider that the singularity of each marble cut make each pieces slightly different as they are unique.
