Handcrafted in Portugal from Portuguese pinewood, atha bowls explore the timeless beauty of wood and nature. inspired by the simplicity of organic and natural forms, ATHA is crafted from a use multitude of historic techniques and tools, each piece is carved, spun, scorched, and sandblasted, creating unique strikingly textured sculptural vessels. The deliberate use of the repeated polished bolts, locked through the blocks of wood represent strength and permanence of the materials when fused together.
