Artist statement
Formed from white stoneware, this lamp features a chain linked motif to represent unity and connection. These hopeful sentiments are integral today in a world that feels ever more divided and disconnected. The striking yet simple chain hangs around the lamp base, adorning the form like jewellery, the links connecting to one another and the main body of the piece. The lamp features a bayonet brass fitting with an antique brass twisted cord and a tall cream linen shade handmade in the UK. This can be fitted with a UK plug socket or for certain regions a specific plug can be fitted. Please enquire about this.

There is a softness and imperfection attributed to the handmade nature of the piece and each one is entirely unique. Please note that there is a difference in lighting between images and that the stoneware is a soft light cream colour.
