Artist statement
Bossa Armoire
The Bossa Armoire is a striking creation designed and handcrafted in our Toronto studio, Morgan Clayhall. The artwork on the doors is by artist Murray Duncan, and it embodies a bold new direction in design. Inspired by 1970s color palettes and the spirit of Brazilian modernism, the Bossa series merges abstract shapes and vibrant colors, creating a contemporary yet calming aesthetic.
The artwork on the doors features dynamic shapes, accentuated by rich hues that evoke a sense of modernity and tranquility. The body of the armoire is crafted from walnut veneer stained ebony, with the interior offering both fixed and adjustable shelves for versatile storage.
As with all pieces in the Bossa collection, customization options are available for size, finish, and color to suit any specific project or design vision.
For more information or to discuss customization options, please contact the studio through The Artling.
