Abstract Enamel Armoire
The Abstract Enamel Armoire is designed and crafted in our Toronto studio, Morgan Clayhall. The artwork on this piece is created by renowned artist Murray Duncan, who brings his signature mixed-media approach to the design. The work features large-scale abstract forms, with intricate layers of lines and washes of paint. The piece explores the expressive potential of painting through repetition, erasure, and the manipulation of lines, resulting in a dynamic and thought-provoking artwork.
The armoire is constructed from a walnut body, complemented by a steel base finished in matte black, offering a modern and sleek contrast to the vibrant complexity of the artwork. The mixed-media artwork is sealed in a high-gloss resin, enhancing its depth and texture.
