The Pratt Armoire by Morgan Clayhall is a striking fusion of art and design, meticulously crafted and finished in our Toronto studio. Each piece features original, hand-painted mixed media artwork by artist Murray Duncan, sealed in a high-gloss resin to create a bold and captivating center-piece.

Murray Duncan's signature style combines abstract expressionism with graphic, calligraphy-inspired graffiti. His artwork utilizes overlapping characters, dynamic line weights, vivid colors, highlights, shadows, and paint drips, resulting in a visually compelling composition. Every armoire is unique, with its design tailored to reflect the client’s personal story. Words, phrases, names, or dates provided by the client can be seamlessly incorporated into the artwork, forging a deeply personal connection. Clients can also customize color palettes to suit their preferences.

The armoire is constructed with a walnut veneer body, resting on a steel base finished in matte black. This thoughtful craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that the piece functions beautifully while serving as a statement of individuality.

The design echoes the artistry of the Pratt Armoire, which features abstract compositions of forms, textures, and gestural marks, blending traditional techniques with experimental approaches. The result is a sense of dynamic movement, contained within the clean borders of the cabinet doors.
