Artist statement
The Dining Table from the Unconscious Flow Collection combines the most important aspects of design: form, material, and light. Instead of the usual, expected foundation of the table, I designed abstract lines, which are stable but at the same time create an embroidered imprint on the lower bottom of the table surface. This interconnectedness allows an eye to observe this diffusion of lines and curves.
