Artist statement
Side table RisingStar is made of solid walnut wood and glass. The idea behind is to have not just a rigid table, but a table that is able to change its shape by motion.
By turning the wooden handle at the first piece of glass it is possible to transform the tabletop from a circle segment into a complete circle and vice versa. At the same time arises - like a star - a beautiful pattern through the edges of the glass pieces.
This product is handmade to order in the Weinheim studio and by local artisans, using sustainable, eco-friendly and ethically sourced materials.
Please note that this piece is only designed for a light load.
