Artist statement
StandupTable is made of solid colored glass an lacquered MDF. The idea behind is to have just one furniture which can be a side table as well as a low table or an object.
Special attention was paid to an easy and sophisticated way this can be achieved. The table is straightened up just by a solid colored glass plate in the seldom color of gold-rosé which is in slots and which breaks through the bottom and the top oft he table. For perfect alignment, the tabletop is equipped with a small round spirit level.
In addition to the glass plate in gold-rosé, the standupTable is also available with a glass plate in blue.
This product is handmade to order in the Weinheim studio and by local artisans, using sustainable, eco-friendly and ethically sourced materials.
