Walnut or Oak wood bench with metal joints in natural brass or painted finish
The traditional wooden bench is a classic piece of furniture in China. Commonly associated with the Chinese elementary school experience, the bench is shared between students who must partner up with a classmate, introducing children to social interaction. The bench is a social object. The People’s Bench is an updated version of this classic, and is designed to be stackable. The legs are moved from under the seat to the sides of the bench.
