About the art
Artist statement
The lamp is made using round pieces of the material I developed regenerating synthetic carpet waste, combined with LED Neonflex, which are flexible LED strips that resemble neon light. The flexibility of the lights creates a contrast with the rock-like aesthetic of the recycled carpet. The Neonflex is also available in warm white, orange, red, blue, pink and green, and the carpet can be dyed accordingly to your need.
