About the art
Artist statement
Table 1 is part of an ongoing research into abstraction and repetition. A simple fold is repeated 4 times to give the table both stability and dynamics.
Made with 4 mm steel plates, laser cut and spot welded. Sandblasted with clear lacquer. This particular piece is a hand-produced one-off, and as such the imperfections, scuffs and marks are integral part of its look and feel.
