Artist statement
Coffee table made of laser-worked steel.
Top is cut, sandblasted and transparent varnished, the structure is epoxy powder coated gold.
It is inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where ceramic fragments are welded with a gold-colored mixture.
In this case we have the effect of a fusion of various sheets with different decorations evocative of past times.
